TAMECT receives limited funding to cover the operating costs associated with providing emergency medical care to the thousands of people it helps during Corp and Greek events and other University related events ranging from Big Event to MSC Concerts.

Since 1976, the student run all volunteer Texas A&M Emergency Care Team has dedicated unknown hours in staffing numerous First Aid Stations at Kyle Field during Football games and at other athletic events. TAMECT also trains not only their members in basic first aid and more advanced classes but also offers CPR classes to the students of A&M and members of the community. The training and experience of TAMECT and it's members keeps us ready to respond with superb medical care to any event from the collapse of Bonfire in '99 to the recent hurricanes that displaced so many lives.
